Todd Hanson, FAIA
The leader of the Healthcare Studio, Todd has been integral in establishing JSA's reputation for innovative programming, design sensitivity, and client service. Since coming to JSA in 1987, Todd has directed a multitude of healthcare projects ranging from comprehensive master plans to new psychiatric hospitals to community health clinics. He is passionate about developing therapeutic environments that support the physical & emotional needs of all users. Active on numerous community service boards and professional committees, he chaired the Healthcare Facilities Committee for the Boston Society of Architects. Now life altering circumstances have left him with physical limitations but have only increased his enthusiasm, sensitivity and passion for thoughtful design and planning. Todd is also applying his unique insights to help create more awareness for inclusive environments through universal design.
Todd holds a Master's Degree in Architectural Design from Oklahoma State University and is a licensed architect.
