Gammon Academy, a school that educates children and youth with psychiatric, neurobehavioral, developmental, and/or intellectual challenges, is currently housed in an aging converted medical office building. The school is in dire need of a new purpose-built facility that can better cater to the unique needs of its students. To ensure that the new school is designed with the best practices in mind, the JSA team, responsible for the project, took the time to shadow students and staff, gaining a deep understanding of the requirements for educating and nurturing these students. The completion of the new school is scheduled for September 2024.
