The Details

Our interior design program for Bridges at Sudbury centered on its comfortable, homelike environment.

The memory care community comprises three, 18-unit (20 bed) households arranged around a central core of common and support spaces. Dining rooms are the primary social gathering space in each household, with a residential kitchen and windows directly linking this space to an outdoor memory garden. The living room, library, activity room and lounge are tailored for resident activities; each space has interconnecting views, with natural daylight and responsive indirect lighting. Sustainable design features were facilitated by the Cape Cod Commission for LEED innovation, and a cutting edge water treatment system was designed specifically for this facility.

By really listening to what the building needed to be, JSA was able to bring to life the perfect dedicated memory care community that has design cues to allow residents to succeed in their new environment.
