The center serves as a place for students to engage in leadership activities, develop teamwork, and encourage lifelong learning. It provides meeting space for student clubs and organizations. The student center also houses a multipurpose room gym, showers, and lockers to allow athletic activities to take place. In addition, there are classrooms and staff and faculty offices.

The center is a focal point for collaboration with the Seacoast community and is a host facility for job fairs, conferences and meetings as well as home to the Business Training Center and Career Placement Services.
