Our plan for the Quincy, MA, property was to fast-track a 457-room full-service hotel through design, approvals, construction, and grand opening in less than 22 months. We met regularly with the property owner, builder and Marriott International during an intense three-week design phase. Key design decisions were made quickly, site work began immediately, and steel was delivered less than five months later. Built on a former granite quarry, the hotel offers dramatic views of Quincy’s harbor and the Boston skyline. The program includes an Irish pub, as well as 15,000 SF of meeting space: 16 meeting rooms and an 8,000 SF grand ballroom.

In Salt Lake City, we helped Marriott International add a second hotel in preparation for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Designed to reinforce and enhance the pedestrian scale of Salt Lake City, the award-winning design was inspired by some of the city’s finer historic structures. Guest rooms have city or mountain views. The project includes 360 units and an underground parking garage. The hotel offers 14 meeting rooms and 15,000 SF of meeting spaces and ballrooms on its second level.
