The Details

Sokokis Hall was the fifth JSA-designed residence hall at UNE.

Our housing plan for the LEED Silver building included two types of suites: some with four single bedrooms and others with two single bedrooms and a double bedroom, as well as two RA suites on each floor and a resident director’s apartment. All the suites have kitchenettes, living rooms and spacious bathrooms. Each floor has two study areas, while the ground floor includes a lounge, fitness room, communal kitchen and laundry. Energy-efficient features include radiant floor heating in all suites, dual flush toilets, occupancy sensors on lights, low VOC finishes, and a green roof.
